Suncoast Academy of Dance

For over 20 years, under the direction of April Joseph-Sykes, Suncoast Academy of Dance has been teaching dance to children from Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs, Safety Harbor, as well as other parts of Pinellas County and Tampa Bay. Our dance studio provides a safe and nurturing environment. We are committed to advancing physical and emotional positive growth through dance education, performance, community service, and enjoyment of the art of dance.

In Our Community

Relay for Life 2012

On April 13, 2012, members of  Art in Motion and other Suncoast Academy of Dance students participated in East Lake High School's annual Relay for Life. AIM's "Viva La Italia" team raised over $1,200! 481 participants from 25 teams raised over $33,000 for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who supported our team and Relay for Life.

Great American Teach In 2011

On November 17, 2011, Suncoast Academy of Dance faculty and student assistants visited Lake St. George, Garrison Jones, Highland Lakes, Ozona, Cypress Woods, and Calusa Elementary schools to participate in the Great American Teach In. Suncoast has participated in this event for many years and, as always, had a great time. See you next year!
